John and Kim McIntyre (John@RiverofLeland.com)
Team Pastor
John and Kim McIntyre have been in full-time ministry since 1993. He is a graduate of Campbell and Liberty Universities with a BA in Music Education and an MA in Religion with a focus in Worship. He has served with two amazing churches in Eastern North Carolina – Enon Chapel Baptist Church of Jacksonville and Southside Baptist Church of Wilmington. John teaches part-time at Coastal Christian High School in Wilmington. He is actively engaged in Disaster Relief, having traveled all over the U.S. helping people who have suffered catastrophic loss from hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and ice storms. When not hanging out with Kim and the dogs, John enjoys fishing, hunting and just helping others. They live for mission trips!
Travis and Amber Currin (Travis@RiverofLeland.com)
Team Pastor
Currently seeking the M.Div. at Liberty University, Travis Currin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2007 with a BA in Film Studies. He is also a Veteran of the United States Navy. After graduation, Travis quickly became involved in the local film and visual arts community. Inspired by how other filmmakers were using their talents in their churches he began doing the same. He felt the call to church planting and pastoral ministry while doing video work on a mission trip to Brazil. Married to the love of his life, Amber, they enjoy being with family and friends, outdoor activities, driving the Jeep on the beach and drinking coffee. Both Amber and Travis are devoted to seeking God and making Him known to all.
